As the interview finishes, you may be invited to ask questions. Having 2 or 3 of these ready is always a great idea! You may have a technical question about a system or product used, or a question based around the role itself, the team or company.
Whatever your questions, make sure they are not ones which have been answered already as part of the interview.
- What do you enjoy most working at x company?
- What are some of the challenges you see in this role?
When the interviewer tells you a challenge, try and answer back about your experience dealing with that challenge in the past.
- How big is the team I will be working in and what are they like?
- What do you think would make someone successful in this role
When the interviewer provides the answer, try and answer back about how you align to this.
- Would their be a handover for the role? Who would that be with?
- Could you tell me more about the culture in the team/organisation?
- Why does the the vacancy exist?
- What are your expectations of the role in this first 90 days?
- What does success in this role look like?
